The Florida Keys & Key West have been my home since 1996. The Keys are a special place like no other destination in the USA. The array of blues and greens you see when you look out at the ocean should make you come back time and time again. The Keys are a place where being on the water is necessary. We have world-class fishing and diving. It’s nice to have all this and still be connected to the mainland Florida! It won’t take you long to realize how unique our island are. There is something special about the place and the people that live here. Everything is just more relaxing. Key West is a bustling little island city just 4 miles long by 2 miles wide. Key West has a full service airport and daily flights from Miami, Atlanta, Charlotte, Orlando, Tampa and Ft. Lauderdale. The drive down the Keys isn’t so bad either though. Many visitors choose to travel to Miami or Ft. Lauderdale and rent a car to drive down the Keys. This to me is the best experience if you have never been here. Each area of the Keys is unique and you might find it surprising which one you like best.
